Fantastic experience: We have tried so many of the local estate agents and have experienced some complete disasters along the way. I want crystal clear communication, and not telling you only what they think you want to hear. To have an estate agent that you know they are trying their best. Following up on leads. Potential buyers to be told the facts, and local knowledge is vital. Charlotte at Sharman Quinney in Ramsey has absolutely been one of the best. Kept me informed right through. I don’t normally do reviews unless they’re bad but she definitely needs recognition.

Negative experience: Unprofessional service from woman called Charlotte . She definitely needs retraining regarding people skills in general. Extremely rude and disrespectful . A nightmare getting a refund back which took 6 months after constant emails and phone calls . Lack of communication, lack of smooth process in general and not a nice first time experience for first time buyer . The other members of staff are more experienced. However , would definitely not recommend if you have no experience in buying / selling a house .

He was incredibly helpful throughout the whole mortgage process and was always available to answer any questions I had, no matter how small. He was supportive, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made the whole experience so much less stressful.

Fantastic experience: A massive thanks to Charlotte for making my parents' house sale a very 'un' stressful experience! Living a fair distance away, Charlotte took on all the viewings and various other responsibilities, which was very much appreciated. It took only 11 weeks from the house going on the market to completion, which was fantastic. We used Sharman Quinney's panel of conveyancers, being allocated Tilly Bailey and Irvine, and they were excellent too. Charlotte was very professional and efficient throughout and we were very pleased and thankful for the excellent service she provided.

Fantastic experience: The sale of our house was delayed time and time again due to our buyers’ awful choice of conveyancers. This caused no end of stress, especially during the latter stages of the process. Lauren and the rest of the team worked extremely hard, often on hold to the conveyancers for well over an hour at a time to try to get us answers. This was very much appreciated and I can see the hard work that went in to try to put my mind at rest. Response time to emails is very quick at SQ and I would not hesitate in using them again.

Positive experience: Just purchased our first home via Sharman Quinney. Great service, would certainly use them again. Throughout the process we were looked after by Carrigan & Elaine, they were always available to assist and were quick to keep us updated and answer any questions/requests we had. The only reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is the solicitors that are part of the package via Sharman Quinney. Whilst we did not use them, our seller did and we found that they were unresponsive and there were long periods where our solicitors and Sharman Quinney estate agents were chasing them for updates.

Fantastic experience: Recently had a valuation from Carrigan, she was extremely professional and helpful. I also saw Amy for my mortgage, I was a little apprehensive as is it my first time selling, yet she put my mind at ease right away about the whole process.

Fantastic experience: For ongoing health reasons (of which I was unaware), I withdrew my bungalow., reluctantly from the market and asked for an invoice to pay 'sales package costs' . This was done and payment by transfer is imminent. Throughout, everyone has behaved properly except no agents were available for any of the several viewings, including the buyer. But I would only like an acknowledgement. My compliments to Jason Taylor in particular.

Positive experience: I have had nothing but excellent service from Laura Beard (Mortgage Advisor), she is proactive, professional and personable. She kept regular communication throughout the whole process and was proactive with every step. The SQ Home Conveyancing team on the other hand were nothing short of terrible, I would not recommend their service to anybody (not replying to emails, required constant chasing, left everything to the last minute, constant errors). Their service made Laura shine and I am very grateful for her work.

Positive experience: Elaine has always been professional and helpful. I feel sure that Carigen will develop as her experience expands and Michayla's courtesy calls are great to know that things are moving along.

Negative experience: Absolutely dreadful. The epitomy of what gives estate agents a bad name. The fact that you now appear to have no record of dealing with me does not surprise me in the least, as we spent 10 months trying to persuade you to include both sellers of the property in any and all communications. I was the one you did manage to communicate with - I do however realise it is a challenge to cc the joint seller in on all emails (that is sarcasm by the way) - it just shows the level of incompetency or, more likely, lack of concern. Now you appear to have no record of someone that has just paid £420 for zero professional service on what was supposed to be a no sale no fee package. I recommend that sellers avoid.

Fantastic experience: Sharman Quinney have recently sold two of my properties. I have used them now on several occasions both for purchases and sales and found them extremely efficient. Elaine, the senior executive in the office is continually working to push the sale through and great at communicating the status of the sale. The whole team are great and would highly recommend to all.

Negative experience: Be careful.... very sneaky indeed, make sure to check what length contract your signing up for as they are harassing me still 15 weeks later even tho I have taken the house of the market with them, normal estate agents offer 6-16 week contracts, not these, also very aggressive selling techniques used, barrage of phone calls, and think they are the best estate agents in town, and put there competition down, we will not be using these ever again, not pleasant. Peter lane it is for us now, super service so far.
