Fantastic experience: I had a really positive experience with Simon from Coopers Lettings and Estates. From the very first time i went to view the property, Simon was such a lovely and welcoming guy. Throughout my stay, he was always helpful whenever there was an issue either anything in the house and was quick to help where he could. i really appreciated how easy he was to communicate with. I would definitely recommend him and Coopers Letting and Estates to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely incredible experience. As a third year student looking for a flat for myself and two others, we were prepared to slum it and make do, but Coopers Lettings really gave us a taste of what renting should be like. All throughout our tenancy it was beyond simple to get in touch and ask any questions, and we’d rarely wait more than an hour, let alone a day, for a response. I can never recommend Coopers enough.

Our landlord respected our privacy, returned our deposit in good time and was helpful when we needed support with any issues with the flat. The flat was newly refurbished at the start of our tenancy and was nicely finished. Was a really nice home to live in for 2.5 years.

Fantastic experience: Coopers Lettings is a trustworthy and reliable family run agency. Simon was always helpful and responsive whenever there was an issue with the house, and he was open to discussing anything we needed. At times, it was a bit difficult to reach them via WhatsApp, but we could always call and Simon would respond. Overall, we’re really happy with the experience and appreciate their support throughout our tenancy.

Negative experience: They are a fraud, beware! Someone called Simon Courtney took my holding deposit and blocked my phone on the day of agreed checkin preventing me to check in at all! Had to file a police complaint!

Negative experience: Just stay away from this company, especially the flats on Wellington Avenue, Stephanie House. I had the worst possible experience. In short, when I moved out of the flat, they deducted £500 from my deposit for cleaning (I left the flat cleaner than when I moved in) and for pest control because of my dog (my dog never had any signs of pests, nor did the flat). I asked for the invoices for everything they spent my deposit on, and when I received them a month later, I found out they were fake, using fake cleaning companies, fake phone numbers... I had to go to Mydeposit Disputes to get my money back. Just avoid all this stress, and stay away from these landlords.

Positive experience: I’ve recently started renting my new home through Coopers and am very pleased with the service they provided from the get-go. When I went for the initial viewing, I was greeted by Simon who was very friendly and told us lots about the area and property itself. Once my offer was accepted, the contractual agreement and financial details were sent through very quickly and I had no problems at all. I would just say it was a little difficult to get in touch with the office as the phone number online doesn’t seem to dial through to the office and at times I’d wait a day or 2 for a response to my email. That being said, once the time came around to collect my keys - I was running late to arrive but Simon was very accommodating and reassured me that he would still be there when I arrived as he was doing the inventory check in the meantime. He checked through the flat very thoroughly, in lots of detail and explained step by step what he had written and observed to ensure that I agreed. He also then sent through a copy to me the next day. All in all, a very positive and stress-free experience and would definitely recommend letting through Coopers to anyone looking!

Fantastic experience: We have moved in to a Coopers lettings apartment and so far very good, Simon showed us around and the viewing didn't feel rushed, we were able to properly view and ask questions, he knew the block and area well so this was helpful. The finance and forms side of things was swift and quite painless, Melanie was really helpful when I had questions ahead of the move. We were delayed getting to pick up the keys and this was managed brilliantly and they were really flexible; taking the stress out of the situation. The apartment has quickly become home & hopefully we'll be here a good while.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I had the pleasure to have lived in a property Managed by Coopers Lettings & Management for 3 and a half years, and which was ended purely due to my wife's ill health, and forcing us to move closer to her work. Coopers have always been very Professional, courteous and polite in dealing with any issues we raised. The lady in accounts goes to work very early in the morning, so I always had my rent by 9am on the due date! They made it easy for us to be landlords. I recommend them without reservation.

Fantastic experience: I Have recently completed a tenancy with which was initiated by Coopers. From start to finish they were the most consummate and professional of letting agency. Everything was dealt with speed and efficiecy, most notably, viewings for us and for new tenants. We were always kept fully in the loop with the progress of both letting and the ending of our tenancy. We simply cannot rate or recommend them highly enough.

Negative experience: Unprofessional, rude, patronising liars! Never use these estate agents! We went for a viewing where the agents broke the legal contract and entered the house without 24 hours warning whilst the current tenants were out. They put the house on the market without telling the current tenants even though they were already in the process of staying another year. They then took our deposit (without us knowing about the current tenants) and decided to raise the rent by £200 per month. Suspiciously, exactly the same thing happened to the tenants before us. I've reported them to the Property Ombudsman, Trading standards and Bexley council. Not impressed with this illegal and immoral behaviour from people who claim to be professionals. EDIT: Ive been asked by coopers to edit this review into an 'accurate account of their service' in exchange for my money back (which wasn't ever legally theirs). But seeing as they have returned my money, I removed the term 'thieving' from this review - everything else is accurate and not a lie.

Positive experience: Their tenancy service was okay and the staff are helpful, however sometimes enquiry mails were not responded anyway, and the basement flat which the offer provided was not so good to live in.

Probably one of the rare honest & competent estate agents around! In my opinion, the manager Simon is the most knowledgeable expert for the Woolwich area (where I purchased). Very reasonably priced as well, and despite that, they still offer nice "extras", recommendations and advice even on topics that are not directly related to the rental.

Fantastic experience: I bought my London flat through Cooper's Lettings Agency last year and right from the start I have found Simon and all at the agency most helpful, not only during the time of purchase, but also since then, as they are managing the tenancy too. In August this year, my tenants left and Simon & his team took care of all the necessary refurbishment including repairs for a leaking stack pipe, repainting, carpet change and replacing certain furniture items before finding new tenants within a month. I was regularly consulted about choice of colours & informed on how the work was advancing and given full information about the new tenants. All this for a very reasonable price indeed. Fantastic experience: We have used coopers lettings for a number of years now to let our london flat, after having a nightmare with some of the other big name agents who always brought us terrible tenants and a low weekly rate. Coopers lettings have ALWAYS found us top notch tenants very quickly, at a fabulous monthly let, and we can't recommend them any more highly. their fees are fery very reasonable too!

Fantastic experience: Simon managed the marketing and sale of our property in London. It was shared ownership property. We found Simon to be professional and proactive in all areas of our sale. He got a valid customer and advised us throughout the process. The sale was a very difficult one due to many factors. However at every point Simon was able to provide a sound resolution. Without his help, advice and support we may not have financially survived this process. A competent and dedicated agent, who does work hard for his client.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this company at all. We were never able to get hold of them when we rented a property in New Cross, especially when something needed fixing in the house.When we moved out they took a huge amount off our deposit including costs for new keys, cleaning, fridge door hinges, and a broken intercom. All of which didn't need to be fixed. They also didn't put our deposit in a safe holding account which you have to do by law. Avoid these crooks.
