We’d previously had a really poor experience with another local agent, which only highlighted even more how dedicated the Legrys team are to helping you find the perfect home. They offered fantastic support and advice throughout the process and even after we’d received the keys, they were still on hand to help organise outstanding bills and waste clearance with the previous owner. They truly made not just moving in, but even the tricky bits afterwards, so much less stressful. A wonderful, helpful team they’ll definitely be my go-to if (or when) we decide to sell up and move again!

Fantastic experience: We’ve just completed on the sale of our house in Cowden (£1.5m - £1.6m bracket), after what was a very torturous sale. Challenging market, and then when we did agree a sale, some issues arising elsewhere in the chain and some challenging personalities involved! Joseph and his team were excellent throughout. We honestly cannot praise them enough. Thank you, guys. We got reports from 3 firms in the end. Two larger national cos and smaller niche LeGrys. All I’ll say is that the price we achieved through Joseph was £160k more than one national co even advised going on the market at and £60k more than the other. I don’t feel we got an above market price, rather than Joseph just knows this market better than anyone, as our sale showed. Small is beautiful, in this instance at least. You won’t get the flashy pie charts and graphs and chat about national trends etc that a larger firm gives you, but for local knowledge and a lovely team who always have the time to speak, these guys are the best. Thanks again!

Negative experience: Not the greatest of experiences with LeGrys during the purchase of a property listed with them which we have recently completed on. Difficult to get hold of with queries, emails ignored on multiple occasions throughout the process and an attempt by Joseph to persuade us to list our property with them to be able to secure the offer on our onward purchase has left a fairly negative feeling. Very much different from the feeling we have towards the agent who we listed and sold our property with. Ultimately we got the house we wanted that was listed with LeGrys, but not the best experience in dealing with them unfortunately.

Negative experience: My partner has called 9 times today expressing an interest in a property. He got through to voicemail on all but one call and left three or four messages. On the call that was answered he spoke to James who told him that he had been on leave for a week and did not know which properties are still available. He promised to get back to him but didn’t. Apparently he is not interested in selling houses and is clearly unsuited to being an estate agent.

Fantastic experience: I didnt know what to expect when me and my partner bought out first house and I was always under the impression that estate agents were always going to work in favour of the sellers but these guys had everyone's best interest in mind. They were so helpful with any questions we had and helped simplify everything and made sure everyone was happy. I think I ended up speaking to everyone but the 2 people in particular I found the most helpful was Tony and Joseph. Nothing was too much and were always happy to help. Couldn't rate these two enough! Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Legrys kept us up to date with progress. Sent around to view only those in a position to purchase our property, those renting, those with available finance. Attentive when we had to go into their offices, took no phone calls etc. Professional but friendly, particularly James who helped sort out any queries or questions which arose as our sale progressed. Have already recommended our friends who have already enquired about purchasing a bungalow if and when one becomes available.

Negative experience: I believe the recent buying boom that has been triggered by stamp duty holidays and 5% deposits have gone to the heads of many agents and Legrys has been one of them. Had to chase them constantly to get responses on reasonable offers, been told I will be called back in the afternoon to not get a call all day and to finally have let us slip (cash buyers) because they didn't feedback on an offer which we would have happily matched. As a buyer I don't see any of this 5star service mentioned from past customers.

Fantastic experience: Well, where can I start with my reveiw of Le Grys Edenbridge? They were amazing! Joseph, James,Tony and the whole team were all wonderful, guiding us through the buying process during an incredibly challenging time. They could not have been more approachable, responsive or patient and were hugely reassuring at all times. They went over and above expectations and I would not hesitate in recommending them or using them again ourselves. We will be taking them out for a drink in a local pub (now that we are allowed!) to thank them for all their hard work and dedication.

Fantastic experience: I have dealt with a few letting agencies in my time and this is by far the best experience I’ve had to date. The folks at LeGrys have made the process so smooth. James, who is looking after us has been fantastic. He has gone above and beyond to help us settle in and it does feel like he actually cares. A simple text to check we are moved in and setting in well, for example. I was lucky I was the first to call about the property but what was great was that they only arranged for 3 people to view the property even though there was huge demand. Often an agent will just arrange a load of viewings and then let to someone out of the blue who hasn’t viewed the property at all, cutting out everyone who was doing it the right way. I’ve found them very professional throughout the process so far. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!
