Fantastic experience: Me and my partner were directly involved with the professional and accommodating service provided by Chris Mitchell, from the day we met him, he was, as I said, very professional, helpful, attentive and showed a great level of understanding and expertise. It was a pleasure working with him and we are sure that he will go very far in this role. Much appreciated!
Negative experience: 0/5 ⭐️ This estate agent is allowing the landlord of the property we’re were renting take the absolute mick out off us and trying to target us for crazy amounts of money. His flat was never done in a livable way and safe hence why we ended our tenancy early. He wants to do up his flat and use our money to do so to help towards the cost and that won’t be happening plain and simple don’t trust them.

At Griffin, we take concerns regarding property condition, security and maintenance extremely seriously. Properties are inspected and an inventory is completed prior to a tenant moving in, recording the condition of the property at the commencement of the tenancy, including photographic evidence. This provides an accurate record of the condition at the start of the tenancy and is an important part of the tenancy process.
We also respond to maintenance issues reported during a tenancy and work with the relevant parties to address repairs and concerns appropriately.
Regarding any proposed deductions from a deposit at the end of a tenancy, these are not simply charges that can be applied without supporting information. Where there is a dispute, the matter is directed through the appropriate channels, with the relevant documentation, inventory information and photographic evidence provided so that the circumstances and condition of the property can be properly considered.
We appreciate that there can be differing views between landlords, agents, and tenants regarding the condition of a property and any associated costs at the end of a tenancy. Our role is to follow the appropriate procedures and provide the evidence available to us, rather than make unsupported assumptions.
We are unable to discuss individual tenancy matters or personal circumstances publicly, but we remain happy to address any genuine concerns through the appropriate channels not forgetting the behaviour and conduct of ALL involved.

Negative experience: Abbotts are amazing when you sign up for a rental. Once you are in. They DO NOT answer phones. They do not deal with issues. When you move out they DO NOT like to give you any owed money back or deal with queries. The deposit is held for far far too long
