Moving house can be incredibly stressful, and our journey certainly had its challenges, but throughout the entire process, Isabel and her colleagues were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond time and time again, keeping us informed, chasing things up when needed, answering our endless questions and, most importantly, genuinely caring about getting us to our new home. Their professionalism, patience, communication and determination were second to none. Even when things became complicated or frustrating, they remained positive, approachable and incredibly helpful. We always felt that we had people on our side who were working hard to make things happen. Negative experience: Jo assisted greatly. She was polite and respectful throughout my dealing with this estate agent. She answered questions and was prompt in reaching out to me However…. I had less than helpful experiences with other members of the team who spoke to down to me and came across rather rude and abrupt.

Selling this property was, quite honestly, a nightmare, with the sale falling through a couple of times before we finally reached completion. Throughout all of the ups and downs, Claire and Isabel went above and beyond to support me and keep things moving. Their communication, knowledge and level of support were exceptional. They were always available, proactive and willing to do whatever they could to help, even when circumstances were incredibly challenging. I genuinely don’t think they could have done any more. Ultimately, I didn’t achieve the price I had originally hoped for, but I certainly don’t attribute that to the estate agents. The difficulties surrounding the property and the failed sales were the real issue, and Claire and Isabel worked tirelessly to navigate those challenges and get the sale successfully completed. What really stood out was how committed they were throughout the entire process. They kept me informed, offered sound advice, chased things when needed and provided reassurance when things became particularly stressful. Selling a difficult property is never easy, but having Claire and Isabel in your corner made a huge difference. Their professionalism, communication, support and knowledge are genuinely excellent. Fantastic experience: We purchased our house though Ullyotts. There was a lot of trouble further down the chain and took 8 months to get to completion date. Ullyotts contacted us frequently and kept us up to date with what they could find out. Our own estate agent was nowhere near as informative. Negative experience: Another fallen victim to receive a unsuccessful letter, I found a property that I really liked, I was sceptical to try Ulloyts again as I tried a few years ago and recieved the same letter, but I thought years have passed lets try again, SHOCK!! I got another letter to say unsuccessful, very long winded process and complete waste of time. I can see other people from reviews have had the same issue and especially when before I got the letter. I just queried to see if there was a response, and was very sharply (rude) made to feel like I was a inconvenience to them for just wanting to know if I was successful, say a leopard never changes its spots, but clearly if you like to be rude and a snob you got a higher Chance of getting a property with them, than someone who can provide 3 outstanding landlord references from previous homes I rented. It would be interesting to know how the company reacted to the new renters act brought in, clearly they are still stuck in the stone ages and choose not to change. I bet I was also get the same dim-witted response. AVOID!! unless you want your time wasted as much as a sand person on facebook marketplace..

Nothing was too much for her, she was friendly and informative. The homes are spacious and great quality with a fantastic standard specification.

Negative experience: avoid these letting agents, they are unhelpful and unconcerned about damage being done to our property by tree roots invading our drains and house foundations and broken concrete of our patio by a very large tree on premises they are responsible for . not even coming to look and maybe reach a solution.

Fantastic experience: We spent a long time on Rightmove and exploring the area before applying to rent. It gave us chance to explore different agents and rental requirements ( we are new to renting) Ulyotts( Driffield) came across as the most professional when we read their initial enquiry details. They asked pertinent questions and whilst very detailed information on finances was needed before offering viewings it was made clear that once accepted we could apply for any of their properties with no further paperwork or delay. For us this was ideal as we knew we wanted to live in a certain area but not exactly which kind of property would suit our long-term requirements and wanted to see them for ourselves.. Lyndsey and Olivia were so helpful, answered lots of queries, dealt with our disappointment when a house we liked went quickly and found us the absolutely perfect spot in little over a month including paperwork. We now have moved in and feel secure in the knowledge that all correct procedures and safeguards are in place for us. Would 100% trust Ulyotts to deal with when renting a property. Thank you.

Negative experience: Refused to share any photos of a property before applying, travelled 45 miles to view a mouldy house in the middle of nowhere and dealt with consistently disrespectful and discriminatory staff who couldn't even provide a brochure for the property, or a floorplan. EDIT: "processed without discrimination" is an insane claim when they openly refused half of our tenancy despite both being capable to pay rent.

Negative experience: I put my property on the market with Ullyotts Driffield.All seemed ok then 12 weeks in the buyer decided to send in a surveyor, after that we had no end of sergested completion dates so after 6 months of messing about I decided to put the house back on the market only to be told by Martin Slater at Ullyotts that I couldn't because they had found me a buyer. I then decided to move my property to another agent but with in four days I received an invoice from Ullyotts Driffield for the full commission of £3.600. I have had to pay this money to Ullyotts for not selling my house, as the is a claus in the contract you sign that is the willing and able claus that states if your buy is willing and able to proceed then you have to wait until they are ready, you have no rights. You can not withdraw from the sale or take your property away from Ullyotts you just have to wait for your buy to decide if and when the sale will complete. Your buyer can pull out of the sale at any time right up the the point of exchange of contract, but you can't do anything. Also if you put your property with Ullyotts and no buyer is found you can not move to another agent without paying Ullyotts and administration fee, it's just one big con. So please be aware when dealing with this estate agent

Negative experience: One of the worst estate agents I've ever have the displeasure of dealing with. We have been good tenants for 15 Years with Good Credit and Income and excellent references, and yet they won't even entertain us. They give no reason why. They claim they don't discriminate, but it is obvious that they do. Had to give them every piece of private information thinkable before they would even consider letting us look at a property. Which clearly breaches GDPR rules. Wanting 6 statements from EVERY bank account we possess including Savings. Never had any other estate agents ask for that much information before we've even looked at a property let alone said we want it! Waited 2 weeks for a response, and received a letter saying we weren't acceptable to even meet with them. No reason given. Called to ask why and was fobbed off. You are numbers to them, not human beings. We have been perfectly acceptable to rent from EVERY other estate agent in the area. So why did they reject us? They said it could be about "affordability". But their rent prices range from £400 - £1200 pcm. Which houses can we not afford? Because according to them, its ANY of them. If you're looking to rent with them, I suggest avoiding. If they are this bad before you even LOOK at a house, imagine what it's like renting from them. Shame so many Landlords use them. Cruel and unnecessary treatment of prospective tenants. Edit: In response to that response, it is an absolute fact that you discriminate. Even if a tenant had money issues, you're supposed to offer the opportunity for them to pay months rent upfront or provide a guarantor. You gave no such opportunity. Didn't even give an explanation. Said we can only reapply in 6 months. How are we supposed to reapply when we don't even know why we were rejected? What are we supposed to work on to be accepted? All Ullyotts properties are up for rent for months, it's clear to me now why that is. I am fascinated what the criteria is to be acceptable to even LOOK at their properties. Everyone I have spoken to who has tried to rent with them has had an awful experience. How they have a monopoly on rent in this area I'll never know. How does it help the landlord to have empty properties for months without the opportunity to meet potentially great tenants? It's an absolute joke honestly.

Negative experience: Tried applying to view property, was told to fill out 2x seperate applications for myself and my partner which is fair enough, gave them more than the standard amount of personal information even just for a viewing just to receive a letter a few days later saying we were "unsuccessful". We both work full time, decent wage, have been renting another property for over 3 years. No reasons as to why. Didn't bother calling as other reviews seem to be exactly like mine. I did wonder why they have so many properties to rent. Now I know why, they're just not accepting new tenants. Landlords do not use this estate agents. My old one was way better and the staff friendlier.

Negative experience: Wow. Another 1 star review. What an arrogant ignorant company. The people answering the phones need to address their opinon of themselves and management should consider some urgent customer service training. Apply to be a tennant and they'll get back to you in a few weeks, after requesting an unreasonable amount of personal data just tobtry and book a viewing. Great! Guessing landlords are happy with extended void periods. But tenants, look elsewhere if you plan to actually rent somewhere. Not proactive, not interested. Landlords - give them a call pretending to be a tenant. Especially if you already list with them - you'll soon realise why your property is still empty! The first and last time I've dealt with this dreadful agent.

Negative experience: If you're a potential tenant, and wanting to rent a place, please please please avoid this company. They will likely require you to disclose extensive, invasive financial information just consider whether or not they will allow you to view property on their books. (Note, and the level of information required is far more than required to arrange a viewing, and is even more extensive than if you were looking to buy a property through them). They do not demonstrate a clear need as to why this level of information is required - which is a clear breach of GDPR. They claim to be signed up, yet do not follow, Property Ombudsman recognised Best Practice. Then then if you legitimately, politely question the policy, your concerns are summarily dismissed. Absolutely horrendous behaviour before you're even a tenant - so heaven knows how bad they actually are once you're in the property. Run away.

Negative experience: Disgusting behaviour from this company I applied for a house to rent in Driffield so my autistic son can access the special school there and received a letter of refusal stating that I didn't meet thair criteria when I phoned and asked what the criteria was they refused to tell me. The manager will probably try to defend this as I have noticed in other reviews but it's indefensible also the woman that I spoke to on the phone was very rude and told me to go elsewhere .quote verbatim "I suggest you go elsewhere " yes also I'm not the only person to have mentioned the rudeness of thair employees! Not respectful at all and it's funny how they don't seem to have a record of my application?

Initially he moved in with us, as bungalows in town were quite a rarity (ones that ticked all his boxes at least). Then Martin found him the perfect one that had just come onto the market. Could not thank him enough. Lovely bungalow in a lovely area. All staff were helpful whenever we needed to contact the office. Especially like the fact that it’s a “set fee” - less likely to get into a “bidding war”.

Negative experience: My elderly parents have been waiting over a year to find a suitable bungalow in Driffield, which they then found on Ullyotts' site. Rang to arrange a viewing which was agreed with Isobel and the vendors, who had wished only for buyers who had sold their property already. Isobel and the vendors were aware of my parents' house having sold instantly before and were therefore willing to allow a viewing, but when I phoned back to arrange a time, the viewing was denied by another employee taking my call. Annoying to say the least. Such a shame.
