Fantastic experience: The staff who came to see the property initially were very efficient and friendly. The photographs including the ‘walk around’ ones were well done, although we requested a couple of changes. The changes were made quickly and entirely to our satisfaction. They contacted us regularly with updates until we accepted an offer at which point they answered questions from both sides (outwith the legal stuff which was being handled by our solicitor). And they phoned to say congratulations and thank you when we completed the sale. They could not have been more helpful! A solid 10/10.

Positive experience: Never can get through to the hexham office on the phone & always get diverted to a hub service they use. Also leave messages for someone to call me back about a property that I seen on Rightmove that I was interested in and never received a call back from the agency. What a joke of a way to run an estate agent

Negative experience: If you are autistic and/or suffer from poor mental health, I would strongly recommend you stay well clear of this company as they'll try pull the wool over your eyes. I sold my house through RHP and was told by their agents that the buyer was a cash buyer and had already sold their house (I have 2 emails confirming this). I also accepted a lower offer on my house as I thought there was no chain and it'd be a quick sale. To my surprise my solicitor informed me that I was part of a chain. RHP only told me about the chain 2 weeks before completion, when the people at the top of the chain started pushing for an exchange date. I never received any sort of explanation/apology from RHP for lying to me.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with three members of the Hexham team: Vicky, Caroline and Zak. I found all members of the team to be incredibly effective and efficient, supportive and knowledgeable about their profession. From viewing the property, marketing and securing a sale, they worked continuously to ensure every step was monitored and progressed within a timely fashion. All members of the team were approachable and no question was ever seen as a silly question. Though out the process, you knew they were working on your behalf and wanted the best possible outcome for you. Fantastic experience: Red Hot recently advertised and let out my Hexham property. From start to finish, their service was excellent and I was particularly impressed with their 'nothing's too much trouble' attitude and quick response times.

Fantastic experience: I have used the services of red hot property three times in the last two years once to sell a house and twice for letting and have found them to be very professional and friendly. Matthew recently rented a house out for me and everything worked out very well.

Negative experience: The agency are only interested in the landlord and not the tenant. Constant emails about basics such as working hot water and a flushing toilet, only to be faced with threats as you will be charged with the bill. They definitely took advantage of me as a mother without being able to pay the account myself. At one point I was electrocuted following the advice of the owner where water was pouring into a cupboard with electricity. The small mounted and outdated tv fell off the wall, luckily not on my children. Thank god for the tenancy deposit scheme. I got all my money back for the reasons they brought up after numerous viewings of which they were present. They are money grabbing people. Be Ware .

Negative experience: Very poor website Doesn’t work properly The most important thing for a letting agent is their profile on the internet This one is poor and is not mobile friendly

Negative experience: Opinionated, unprofessional and left 2 young boys without a roof over their heads. Disgraceful service keep well clear!!!
