Negative experience: The worst estate agent in the world. Refused to make an appointment for me to see a house despite the fact I am a cash buyer and ready to buy. It seems they preferred someone who wanted to buy at a lower price. When I sugested that if they wouldnt make an appointment I just go around and speak to the seller myself they defamed me to him to scare him off seeing me. I am retired, a cash buyer in the local area, having just completed on another property sale. Unbelievably incompetent and dishonest. AVOID at all costs if you really want to sell your property!

Fantastic experience: I had never heard of Pygott and Crone until we found our new home on Rightmove. I now sing their praises to anyone who will listen. My special thanks go to Tracy Earth for her support throughout the whole process. She was a great help whenever we needed guidance or a helping hand. We spoke at least once a week, and when things got particularly sticky, several times a day. Her reassurance and sense of humour kept me sane!

Negative experience: If you should call and are unlucky enough to deal with Jade Frost you're about to speak with the Karen of all Karen's of estate agents. Patronising on a whole different level. After going through the whole process of taking my info she asked why I like the converted Chapel that they have for sale, I let her know and all was going well, she asked our position and I said we have sold our property and money is in the bank and we are currently staying with friends so we are chain free and we have a mortgage in principle too, she then proceeded to ask me what our deposit is and they need the mortgage in principle otherwise I can't view the property which has block viewings, I said she can take our word that we can afford the property and have our mortgage in principle and that I'm not willing to disclose my bank about to her, she said no sorry I have to have those details. Who in their right mind tells estate agents how much money is in their bank account? its hilarious and the first estate agents to ever demand this. She didn't like me calling out her rudeness or dirty estate agent tactics and I asked her name to which she laughed refused and hung up, I had to go onto their website to find her name. I've never dealt with such a horrendous estate agency in my life.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Tracy highly enough. She has been absolutely brilliant throughout the entire transaction—professional, patient, and incredibly understanding from start to finish. What really stood out is how proactive and dedicated she was. At times when things could easily have fallen apart, Tracy was the one holding everything together, constantly chasing, coordinating, and making sure all parties stayed on track. She truly was the glue that kept the deal alive. Her communication was excellent, always keeping me updated and explaining things clearly, which made a stressful process feel much more manageable. Negative experience: Very disappointed with this company, having sold a few houses over the years, I have always had a regular communication with my estate agents, with Pycott and Crone, this was not the case! After we sold our property we spoke with them on the phone and have had no further contact from them since, no updates or anything on the sale of our property.. After exchange with our sale, u had a call from them which is the first call in 10 weeks, I raised my opinions on how unimpressed I was with their service, and was told they didn’t get involved once sold.. utter rubbish as no other estate agents work in this way !!! But the day after exchange they were very quick to email us their bill on our sale .. I will never use this company again very very disappointed by their service

Fantastic experience: Although not our agency, Tracy and I, along with my agent Conor, worked together over a sustained period to try and minimise the chaos, try and fine out exactly what was reality and what was untruths being used, managing the incompetency of one of the lawyers practices, some lower agents and some very naive or simply stupid clients further down the chain. They say moving is the most stressful thing to manage- this was absolutely true in this case however Tracy’s tenacious approach and laughter helped make it a little easier, also managing her client in a very professional way to ensure the circle our end was as closed as it could be. The sold sign disappeared the day after as well, a sign of good management I’d say. Well done Tracy and Pygott team.

Leanne was very thorough with making sure she’s bringing the correct houses to market. Called me on a regular basis checking in seeing if she could help in anyway. I have used multiple agents in last few years and have Pygott & crone have been the best. There fees aren’t the cheapest but you pay for what you get. I will definitely be using them again.
