Positive experience: This was our first time selling a house in 30 years, so we weren't sure what to expect. Initially first impressions were not good. we were put off by the agents as we couldn't get into the office, as no wheelchair access. This made us feel very awkward as we had our first consultation on the pavement outside. We have since been assured this issue will be resolved... Moving forward the process was easy and explained very well, we loved the photos and video walk through of our home really made it look amazing. All the staff were helpful and professional, thank-you!

Fantastic experience: Our father died in December 2024 and we have had to sell his home this year. It was difficult and emotional. We had three Estate Agents and Fife Properties impressed us with their modern outlook and straight talking. They explained the charges up front and were clear they weren't the cheapest on the market, but there weren't any shocks. Other cheaper agents had extra charges such as charging for doing the viewings. Neither my brother or myself live locally to Dad and were relying on the agent to do the viewings and we would have racked up a lot of extra costs. FP kept us fully informed and gave us feedback from the viewings. They were honest with us about what needed to be done to make the house more appealing and that eventually resulted in a serious offer. We are very glad we went with FP because they were empathic and respectful while being honest. Nothing was too much trouble and they arranged viewings for evenings and weekends in order to maximise the number of people who could view the house.

We were completely looked after throughout the process. Cora provided detailed and frequent updates during the sale process which gave us reassurance of Fife Properties commitment to the sale of our house. Positive experience: Fife properties worked around the clock to get my property sold, and succeeded in getting an excellent price for it too. They were excellent at staying in touch with me and in keeping me abreast of all parts of the process. However, due to a miscommunication within the team, they also accidentally sold a part of the property that was not for sale (!). We eventually managed to resolve this - to the benefit of Fife properties and the buyer. But at least my house was sold quickly, and for a very good price.

Fantastic experience: We switched from another agent to Fife Properties to sell our late father’s house. The house wasn’t getting viewings and no offers at all. Within 8 weeks of being marketed the house was sold. The buyer put in a provisional offer before they had even seen it, all thanks to the power of the video tour. We had the added complexity of living in England and the team at FIfe Properties went above and beyond to help us and make it as stress free as possible. From Sophie’s excellent video tour to Ann-Marie offering to check in on the property I can’t recommend them highly enough.

In about 2 months since going live on the selling platforms, social media - property sold, i.e. am out of my old home. Because of the distances involved, my initial contact was via email and telephone. Susan Patterson was extremely helpful in accommodating my requests and provided all the information I asked for quickly and efficiently. The video tour of the house was invaluable as it turned a property I may not otherwise have considered into my new home (Jim's cheerful enthusiasm for the task also helped immensely). Fantastic experience: Working with Fife Properties was a positive experience from start to finish, beginning with Jim's initial visit to view the property when his enthusiasm together with his detailed and up-to-date knowledge of the local housing market really shone through. The advertising of the house was excellent and the video walk-through posted on social media got a huge number of hits online before the listing went live on Rightmove. This helped reach a wider audience at a time when market conditions were becoming much more difficult with interest rates and mortgage costs both sharply on the rise. There was regular communication from the team in the Cupar office and a sale was agreed within a month of the house going on the market. All in all, I can recommend Fife properties wholeheartedly.

Fantastic experience: We bought a house in St Andrews in late 2019. An earlier one that we were interested in, and the one we bought, were both sold by Fife Properties. As we'd had a good experience buying, and we knew that both of those had sold quickly, we decided to sell our house in Kingsbarns with FP too. They sorted out the arrangements for putting it on the market efficiently. Our timing wasn't ideal, as it went on the market a few weeks before lockdown, and a new building development had just started immediately next to us. Nonetheless, FP kept in touch and queued up some viewings for once restrictions were eased. The sale completed in August, with an excellent offer significantly higher than our expectations.
